Voter Registration Scheduled for Budget Vote and Trustee Election
Huntington School District residents who are not registered to vote in either a general or district election can register for the May 19 budget vote and election on Thursday, May 14 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Huntington High School lobby.
Qualified voters seeking to register must present themselves personally to the Board of Registration. To be eligible to register, individuals must be a United States citizen, have resided in the district for at least 30 days and be at least 18 years old.
Persons who have been previously registered in the district and have voted in a district election conducted during the four calendar years running from 2005 through 2008 or who are registered and qualified to vote in a general election need not register again to vote in the May 19 budget vote and trustee election.
Only qualified voters who have been duly registered will be permitted to vote on May 19. For more information call Huntington District Clerk Elizabeth Troffa at 673-2126.
