Huntington Adult Ed Program Seeks Course Proposals


The Huntington adult and continuing education program is seeking proposals for new courses for the 2009 spring semester. Program Director Kenneth A. Card, Jr. is reaching out to the community and asking those who are interested in teaching a course to submit a brief proposal that includes a description of the class or seminar and the materials required.

 

Some of the topics that Dr. Card would like to add to the program, in either full course or seminar form include: Quicken Basic, Digital Cameras in a Flash, Advanced Yoga, Pilates, Kickboxing, Tap Dancing, Hip Hop Dance Class, Exercise and Nutrition (course or seminar), Health and Stress Management workshop, American Sign Language for Beginners, Identity Theft, Educating Your Teenager on Credit Card Use seminar, How to Pay for College Without Going Broke, Woodworking, Photograph Your Children Like a Pro, Studio Art, How to Sell Items Using eBay, How to sell Your Home with or without a Broker, Debt-Free Lifestyle Financial Planning for Women...and the men who love them, Crocheting, The Fundamentals of Bridge, Haircutting, Introduction to Guitar and Community Band (Jazz band, Swing band, Orchestra).
