Huntington girls’ basketball coach Brad Reminick has been named Suffolk League V Coach of the Year after the Blue Devils finished 17-7 and won the Class A county crown.
Huntington wrestling coach Lou Giani said that all of the team’s league and county place-winners “were hardworking and focused. It was an honor to work with them.” The Blue Devils won the Suffolk League V title with a 7-0 mark, finished third in the county tournament and ninth in the state tournament.
Giani credited the team’s “great desire, great discipline, great determination and great work ethic” for putting it over the top.
