Erika Sabogal Hired as Dual Language Teacher
The Huntington School District’s newly expanded elementary dual language program is getting a brand new teacher. Trustees approved the probationary appointment of Erika Sabogal, who will work at Flower Hill School.

Prior to coming to Huntington, Ms. Sabogal worked at Bonny Eagle Elementary School in Buxton Maine as a reading recovery teacher (Feb.-June 2001) and at Bonny Eagle High School as a Spanish teacher (Sept. 2001-June 2004).
From Sept. 2004 to April 2007, Ms. Sabogal taught Spanish and French at Scarborough Middle School in Scarborough, Maine before serving as a kindergarten dual language teacher in the Longwood school district from May 2007 through June 2008.
Ms. Sabogal will be eligible for tenure in Huntington on Sept. 1, 2011.
