Parent Workshop Offered on Strategies for Positive Behavior
A parent workshop on Strategies for Positive Behavior is planned for Thurs. Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the J. Taylor Finley Middle School auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Geanna M. Partland, a national board certified behavior analyst who currently serves as the education supervisor at Developmental Disabilities Institute in Huntington, will present techniques on managing children’s behavior.
Through the years, Ms. Partland has given countless parents and educators hands-on training in proven methods that can be utilized in addressing challenging behaviors.
The event is sponsored by the Huntington Special Education PTA and the PTA. No ticket or reservation is necessary.
