Yoga for Kids to Debut
The Huntington Special Education PTA is sponsoring an after school “Yoga for Kids” program beginning Jan. 8. Six one-hour sessions will be held on Tuesdays at Washington Primary School and Thursdays at Huntington Intermediate School from 3-4 p.m.
A SEPTA promotional flyer states the program “will help kids improve their concentration and focus, enhance creativity, develop self-confidence and promote optimal health and wellness.” The program will be held in a “fun filled, yet structured environment.”
The program is free, but a $10 materials fee will be assessed at registration. Registration deadline is Fri. Jan. 4. Class size is limited. For registration information or other questions log onto huntsepta@hotmail.com.
