Huntington Kindergarten Registration Dates Announced
The Huntington School District has announced kindergarten screening and registration dates for children who will be five years old by December 1, 2008. Parents or guardians should call the special registration hotline as soon as possible at 673-4299 to make an appointment and receive an information packet.
Kindergarten registration will be held on March 17 at Jefferson Primary School, March 18 at Flower Hill Primary, March 19 at Washington Primary and March 26 at Southdown Primary. Make-up registration dates are scheduled for March 27 and March 28 at Huntington Intermediate School.
There are several documents that parents or guardians must bring with them to the registration including, proof of the child’s birth, record of immunizations, two proofs of residency in the district and proof of guardianship and a photo ID.
