Special Education PTA Registering New Members
The Huntington Special Education Parent-Teacher Association is accepting new and renewal memberships. SEPTA is a district-wide PTA unit focusing on the needs of children who receive any type of educational support services and their families. The group works to promote quality learning experiences for all children.
Part of SEPTA’s mission is to encourage a better understanding of children’s learning differences, in addition to serving as a resource for parents and teachers. All SEPTA programs are free of charge. Monthly meetings feature guest speakers on a wide variety of topics.
Membership dues are $8 per year. If paying by check, make it payable to Huntington SEPTA and return it along with name, address and phone number/e-mail address to Huntington SEPTA, 155 Lowndes Avenue, Huntington Station, NY 11746 or send it to the PTA mailbox to your child’s school (addressed to SEPTA).
