Math Expressions Program Gains Traction in Huntington
A new elementary grade level math program continues to gain steam in the Huntington School District. The Math Expressions series is published by Houghton-Mifflin and Huntington kindergarten, first and second grade students are currently using it.
Director of Math Wayne Edwards said Huntington is in the midst of providing professional development training sessions for teachers who will be using the new program. He is also encouraging parents to visit a website created by the publisher to learn more about the Math Expression series.
