E-mail is a great way to communicate and get information so we do encourage its use. However, we have one rule. If your e-mail is longer than 5 sentences, and/or it takes us more than 5 sentences to respond, we will not be able to deal with your request in a timely manner. If you need more than 5, please give us a call. Suggestions@hufsd.edu

NOTICE TO ALL SUBSTITUTES
Huntington Union Free School District uses a web-based system for requesting and assigning substitutes. This system is called AESOP's.
Since substituting is a "per-day" assignment where individuals are assigned on an "as-needed" bases, it is the substitutes responsibility to "call-in" or "log-on" to AESOP to search for an opening when they are available. It is not AESOP's responsibility to search for available substitutes and assign them to openings.
Once approved as a substitute, you will be able to "call-in" or "log-on" to search and select openings you are qualified for. If all openings are not filled through this method, and openings continue to exist, as a secondary method AESOP will begin calling unassigned substitutes at random until all openings are filled. It is the substitutes responsibility to keep their address and phone number current and accurate in AESOP and with the Office of Human Resources.
Below are helpful "how to" documents for logging on or phoning in to the system.
